Abstract

The overall aim of the current study was to analyze technology contribution in the accounting teaching-learning process. The goal was to describe how technology was applied to Computer Accounting and to identify students’ perception about learning accounting procedures by using technology. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the professor of the referred discipline in order to get to the results. Students’ perception was identified through a questionnaire. It was possible observing the importance of using technology to teach and learn disciplines linked to accounting, because it directly contributes to knowledge focused on accounting practices.
