Os direitos sociais dos refugiados no Brasil: o acesso dos refugiados à prestação assistencial – Programa Bolsa Família

Abstract

The present work aims at an analysis of the institute of refuge, bringing considerations from the historical construction of International Human Rights Law, as well as presenting the concept and some important aspects related to such institute, social rights in Brazil, bringing an idea of what are/which are, and whether these rights are granted to refugees hosted in the country, especially those focused on assistance - Bolsa Família Program. As a methodology, this study used qualitative methodology through a bibliographic research methodological procedure, where works by Antônio Augusto Cançado Trindade (2006), Fábio Konder Comparato (2010), Mazzuoli (2015), José Afonso da Silva (2005) among the main theoretical milestones used, and this is an exploratory research on this theme, which is not widely discussed. This work is justified, therefore, considering that the norms involving refugees seem to be an imperative nowadays, especially the norms that concern the social rights of these people.
