Laboratório de aprendizagem: a redução de desigualdades educacionais e o papel do gestor

Abstract

The aim of this essay is to analyse the Learning Laboratory Project developed in a school from the local state teaching network in Juiz de Fora and point out the actions that can optimize its operation. The Learning Laboratory works with students with some failure history or that were not able to learn to read and write at proper age. Half-structured interviews were used for this analysis, with actors involved with laboratory, documental research, participating observation and the project attendance. The essay reflects about the teaching-learning process in the laboratory, identifies its benefits and the points that need to be strengthened, aiming at implementing an appropriate model which may put forward children`s school performance and reducing education differences. It points out the weaknesses, shows challenges and suggests new pedagogical practices. At last it presents the Educational Action Plan (EAP) as a school planning exercise.
