A distorção idade-série em uma escola estadual do município de Tabatinga-AM

Abstract

The presente dissertation is developped under the professional master in management and evaluation of education (PPGP) of the center for public policies and education evaluation of the Federal University od Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). The management case stududied investigates the factors that contributed to the fall of the age-grade distortion in the initial years of elementar school, in the municipality of Tabatinga-AM. This school has reduced its age-grade distortion index in recente years, which aims to understand the data of fall of the age-grade distortion in the said stage of education: 43%, in 2011, to 2%, in 2015. For this purpose, it is intended to describe the factors that influenced the decline of the age-grade distortion in the initial years to propose actions, both for the final years of elementar school and for the high school, whose rates are high. This dissertation is characterized as a case study of qualitative nature and has theoretical reference Works that deal with school management, with school professional, as well as analyzed in the second chapter of this dissertation. In the last chapter of this paper, action plan is presented with the main objective of proposing actions for the reduction of age-grade distortion in the final years of elementar and secondary education.
