O discurso anticorrupção do Ministério Público e do Poder Judiciário: uma análise da Operação Lava-Jato

Abstract

The present master's dissertation intends to analyze the anti-corruption discourse took on by the Judiciary and the Public Ministry. In order to do so, the work reconstructs the institutional restructuring that both institutions went through even before the Federal Constitution of 1988, demonstrating the building of instruments that transformed them into inspection agents of the public administration as a whole, implemented through the judicialization of politics. Are also studied the phenomenon of corruption, with the main objective to define it beyond the purely economic aspect, the influence of public opinion on the performance of the agents under study, and a brief analysis of cases political corruption that had greater national impact after the return of democratic life to the country that were of judicialized. Finally, it is made an analysis of Rio de Janeiro’s and Curitiba’s nuclei of the Operation Lava-Jato task force, chosen due the relevance and greatness assumed in the national scenario, which was divided into three topics: history of Operação Lava-Jato, trajectory of the actors who acted in the operation and analysis of the discourse of the actors involved.
