| Resumo: | Este artigo busca refletir sobre as religiões de matriz africana do Candomblé e da Umbanda e seu papel enquanto um instrumento da Lei nº10.639 de 2003, que regula sobre o ensino da história e da cultura afro-brasileira e africana nas escolas de nível fundamental e médio em todo o Brasil. A metodologia de pesquisa se desenvolve na revisão bibliográfica das fontes secundárias sobre cultura afro-brasileira e as expressões religiosas, o que permite analisar os possíveis desdobramentos da referida Lei. O estudo finaliza com a experiência do autor enquanto docente do ensino básico no Estado de Minas Gerais, contribuindo em termos reflexivos para sanar as lacunas ainda existentes entre a Lei nº10.639/03 e as práticas em sala de aula. |
| Abstract: | The aim of the present research is to analyze the African religions of Candomblé and Umbanda and their role as an instrument of Law nº 10,639/2003, which regulates the teaching of African history and culture in primary and secondary schools in Brazil. The research methodology is basead in the bibliographic review of Afro-Brazilian culture and religious expressions, which allows analyzing the possible applocation of Law. Finally, the study reports the author's experience as a teacher, contributing to the reflection between the Law and practice in the classroom. |
