Práticas de escrita de textos argumentativos: tumblr como ferramenta pedagógica

Abstract

This research aims to understand the possible relationship between students reading and writing practices in the virtual environment and the influence of this repertoire in the production of text performed in the classroom, observing, thus, if the Communication and Information Digital Technology use (CIDT) produces positive effects regarding the writing teaching. Our investigative setting, configured as an action-research, was at a public elementary school class in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The data were obtained from the teaching sequence development on the argumentative letter genre, which included the use of Tumblr social network in one of its stages. The survey results point to the fact that the non-formal settings adoption as a Portuguese teaching support helps to shorten the gap between the educational space and the student's world and can contribute to their linguistic development.
