Resumo:	O objetivo do presente trabalho é o de fazer uma análise da evolução do instituto da intervenção humanitária, principalmente no período do pós-Guerra Fria, bem como da falibilidade do modelo atual de intervenção adotado pelas Nações Unidas na reconstrução dos Estados “falidos”, tendo como base as operações realizadas na Somália.
Abstract:	The aim of this essay is to undertake an analysis on the evolution of the legal institute of humanitarian intervention, especially during the post-Cold War period, as well as the fallibility of the current intervention model, adopted by the United Nations on the reconstruction of the "failed states", based on the operations carried out in Somalia.
