| Resumo: | Este trabalho relata a experiência didática de uma professora que optou por apresentar problemas de contagem no ensino fundamental. É um trabalho investigativo cujo principal objetivo é analisar como alunos do ensino fundamental solucionam problemas simples da análise combinatória – não conhecendo suas definições, conceitos e fórmulas – e a partir desta investigação, propor novas formas de trabalhar esse tema com alunos mais novos. A pesquisa foi realizada com discentes do 9◦ ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola da rede estadual de ensino de Minas Gerais. Os alunos realizaram dois tipos de atividades: Atividades de Apresentação (situações problemas que apresentavam as ideias do princípio multiplicativo, permutação e combinação) e Atividades Teste (quatro questões da OBMEP – Olimpíada Brasileira de Matemática das Escolas Públicas – que envolviam o raciocínio combinatório estudados nas atividades de apresentação). Os alunos receberam as orientações de como realizar as atividades e os principais resultados estão descritos neste texto. Há, no final do trabalho, uma reflexão dos resultados obtidos, com o que e como podemos aperfeiçoar nossa proposta e uma sugestão de atividade final. |
| Abstract: | This work describes a teacher’s didactic experience, who chose for presenting counting problems in elementary school. It is an investigative work, which the main objective is to analysehowelementaryschoolstudentssolvesimpleproblemsaboutcombinatorialanalysis - not knowing its definitions, concepts and formulas. From this investigation, the teacher proposednewwaystoworkthisthemewithyoungerstudents. Theresearchwasperformed with 9th grade students in elementary school from a public school in Minas Gerais State. Thestudentsperformedtwotypesofactivities: PresentationActivities(problemsituations that presented multiplicative principle, permutation and combination ideas) and Test Activities (four questions from OBMEP - Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools - that covered combinatorial reasoning studied in the presentation activities). The students received guidance in how to perform the activities and the main results are described in this text. At the end of this work there is a reflection about the results obtained with what and how we can improve our proposal and a final activity suggestion. |
