A música como cuidado em um centro de atenção psicossocial

Abstract

Exploratory qualitative research, aimed at understanding the perception of a Psychosocial Care Center (PCC) multi-professional team situated at Zona da Mata Mineira, concerning music application in mental health care. Based on the Comprehensive Sociology proposed by the french sociologist, Michel Maffesoli, who establishes five theoretical assumptions and sensitivity, entitled: "Criticism against the schematic dualism"; "the shape"; "A relativistic sensitivity"; "A stylist research" and " a liberating thought". Thirteen professionals of both genders and from different areas of knowledge, who work in PCC, scenario of this study, took part in the study and agreed to become involved as volunteers, expressing their consent by signing the Explained and Free Consent Term post informed. The interviews analysis and discussion were done through the report of each deponents, following the stages of "intuition" and "metaphor" elucidated by Maffesoli. The phases that structured and endorsed the work's achievement met all legal and ethical aspects of research involving human beings. It was sought to know mental health care through therapeutic music workshop, as well as meaning and senses attributed by research‟s participants. It was possible to realize that the activities in that workshop should be performed by the multi-professional team as a joint construction of care with users, considering expanded clinic ideals and the principles established in the Psychiatric Reform process. In this regard, it is inferred the importance of "being-togetherwith" the other, wishing relationships that show respect, loyalty and encouragement to behavioral changes. This research has brought as contribution, a reflection about music application as an asset that favors bond building, subjectivity and appreciation of the pacients who are in psychological suffering in mental health care center, by PCC´s professional technical team.
