A atuação do Ministério Público Federal em defesa do povo indígena Krenak: uma análise da concretização do direito material no cotidiano da aldeia

Abstract

The work aims to analyze the performance of the Federal Public Ministry with the Krenak People. Thus, initially, the Public Ministry's function were described. Afterwards, it was necessary to superficially analyze the history of the emergence and struggles of the Krenak People over the years. Finally, all procedures in the systems of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) inherent to the Krenak People were searched in the non-reserved access files. Starting from a deductive analysis, sought to understand how formal law emerge in the material field. To what extent have the actions proposed by the MPF been implemented, what is still in progress, and which measures still require greater attention given the current reality of the indigenous community. This reading of the MPF's actions comes from the perspective of a public servant of that agency, who accompanied some on-site visits to the village.
