Adoecimento funcional docente na rede municipal de educação de Belo Horizonte: estudo de caso da Regional Pampulha

Abstract

This dissertation investigates the potential causes, the effects of occupational illness from teaching and absenteeism in the Regional Pampulha, member of the Municipal Network of Belo Horizonte Education. Objective to identify and list the aspects that exist in the workplace, that causes illness on the teaching staff. The case study is of an exploratory and qualitative nature, since the research aims to ascertain the functioning of the social and physical structures that can cause disease. After brief retrospective of the history of human work and description of the case management is described in the theoretical references, issues such as absenteeism, burnout‟s syndrome, work and professional identity and theories of management, education and quality of working life. Based on management‟s case description and the theoretical support used, we propose an Educational Action Plan (PAE), making use of actions already embedded in the everyday school management, to redirect the attention of the manager making, enabling him to manage the situations of everyday school, in order to minimize the causes of teacher‟s illness.
