| Resumo: | Este memorial descritivo busca, através de experimentações práticas, investigar a construção e desconstrução da imagem de personagens obtidas através de uma manipulação evidenciada pela montagem em tela, que aqui nomeamos de montagem reflexiva; além disso, permear discussões acerca das limitações do real dentro do gênero documental. Através da experimentação, “O Roubo da Imagem” (2023), filme produzido para este projeto, atua como objeto do presente trabalho, refletindo sobre questões éticas acerca do direito do registro e posse da imagem. Por fim, explora a utilização de tais recursos com o objetivo de comprovar o potencial do poder reflexivo que a construção fílmica pode proporcionar ao inverter a sua relação direta com o espectador frente à autenticidade da representação. |
| Abstract: | This memorial seeks, through practical experimentation, to investigate the construction and deconstruction of the image of the characters obtained through manipulation evidenced by the montage on screen, which we call reflexive montage; as well as to permeate discussions on the limitations of reality within the documentary film genre. Through experimentation, "The Image Heist" (2023), a film developed for this project, serves as the object of this work, and reflects on ethical issues surrounding the right to record and own the image. Finally, it explores the use of these resources in order to prove the reflective power that film construction can provide by reversing its direct relationship with the spectator in the face of the authenticity of representation. |
