Liberdade e existência no pensamento de Kierkegaard

Abstract

The concept of freedom is broad and has been present throughout the history of Philosophy and Theology, raising great clashes, questions, positions and investigations that have given the term several meanings. In the thinking of the Danish author Søren Kierkegaard, freedom is related to the main ideas of his literary project and for a good understanding of the the theme, an introduction to the scope of the philosopher and its relations with the literary style used for this purpose is necessary, in addition to a brief introduction to the main concepts to which the idea of freedom is linked. The present research intends, therefore, especially from the works The Concept of Anxiety and Sickness unto Death, to present the meanings given by the author to the concept, presenting the historical antecedents of the problem to show where it is situated in the discussion of the problem.
