Possibilidades da estruturação de uma roteirização turística histórica/cultural na cidade de Juiz de Fora/MG

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data on the attempts to implement historical-cultural itineraries in the city of Juiz de Fora/MG, as well as those that are currently being structured, in addition to perceiving the difficulties that exist in relation to the theme. and thereby envision future possibilities. The methodologies adopted were composed of a bibliographic and documentary survey and a case analysis by Pimentel (2021), where a list of the central geographic location of attractions and services is made. An analysis of the tourist demand survey carried out by the Culture and Tourism Department of Minas Gerais (SECULT/MG) was also carried out, in addition to a qualitative research with participant observations along with itineraries structured by the Tourism Department. A qualitative research was also carried out with actors from the city's tourist trade and finally a qualitative and quantitative research with students of the UFJF Tourism Course. From the results found, it was possible to understand the potential that the city holds in relation to its attractions and the reasons for the non-existence of a consolidated itinerary that attracts both residents and tourists and thus has the possibility of leveraging the tourist segment in the municipality.
