Liberdade de crença e descrença: laicidade do estado e o tratamento não isonômico dado à manifestação da (des) crença frente à iminente intervenção hegemônica religiosa na democracia atual brasileira

Abstract

The following research aimes to explain themes that are related to secularization, secularism and their influence in the formation of what we know as Democracy. As well as the influence even in a Secular State of religion in many aspects of life in society, especially in the three powers that make up our Democratic State of Law. It will analyze the right of belief and disbelief as well as the existence or not of equal treatment and respect for this fundamental guarantee both by the State and by individuals. Therefore, it uses the diagnosis of secularization and secularity theories wich mark a change in the notion of society, individual and world, taken from the great lessons of Fernando Catroga and Max Weber. Later brought to the Brazilian reality with it’s historical data, culminating in the alleged diagnosis of the Secular State and the (freedom) fundamental guarantee of freedom, conscience and belief today.
