A supervisão de estágio em Serviço Social: um caminho a percorrer Juiz de Fora 2019

Abstract

This is a qualitative research carried out with the students of the Specialization course in Social Policy, Social Work and Internship Supervision Process, at the Faculty of Social Service of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora - UFJF, with the objective of verifying whether the The course in question achieves its objectives with regard to quality continuing education and expands the possibility of participation by Social Workers in the professional training process, through supervision of the internship field. We start from the understanding that the internship is a curricular component that facilitates the articulation between training and professional practice. Where the supervised internship defined as mandatory curricular activity and the supervision of internship in Social Work as a private attribution of the Social Worker, it is verified how far these premises intersect and become a unit that comprises professional training and practice. Having the supervision of internship as an agglutinator considered an intrinsic part of both the training process and the professional work process. The object of study highlighted the need to rescue one of the assumptions of the concept of professional training, which is the worsening of the social issue in the face of the particularities of the productive restructuring process in Brazil, within the framework of the neoliberal ideology, determines an inflection in the professional field of the Service Social. This inflection is the result of new requests brought about by the reorganization of capital and labor, by the reform of the State and by the movement of organization of the working classes, with wide repercussions in the professional labor market. In the analysis of the data, when knowing the work experience of the class with regard to the field supervision process internship; the objective and subjective conditions of Social Workers related to the internship field supervision process; realizing the process of continuing education and its relationship with field supervision. We present the limits and challenges to the accomplishment of the work of the Social Worker in the perspective of this front of work, relating the micropolitical aspects of the professional work of the Social Worker with the macropolitical aspects that involve societal transformations.
