| Resumo: | O trabalho se dedica a apresentar e discutir os motivos de abandono escolar declarados pelos participantes do Exame Nacional para Certificação de Competências de Jovens e Adultos (ENCCEJA) comparando os motivos daqueles em situação de conflito com a lei com os demais. De maneira mais específica busca-se comparar o perfil dos participantes e também o grau de influência de um conjunto de situações que são enfrentadas por esses indivíduos que podem ser compreendidas como obstáculos à frequência e permanência na escola. Optou-se por uma abordagem quantitativa e comparativa utilizando os microdados do ENCCEJA 2019. A análise aponta para um perfil de maior vulnerabilidade social dos participantes privados de liberdade, mas a investigação acerca dos motivos de abandono aponta para similitudes entre esses dois grupos. |
| Abstract: | This work is dedicated to presenting and discussing the reasons for dropping out of school declared by the participants in the National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (ENCCEJA) comparing the reasons in conflict with the law with the others. In a more specific way, it seeks to compare the profile of the participants and also the degree of influence of a set of hypotheses that are faced by these individuals that can be understood as objectives to attend and stay at school. We opted for a quantitative and comparative approach using the microdata of ENCCEJA 2019. The analysis points to a profile of greater social vulnerability of participants deprived of liberty, but the investigation of the reasons for abandonment points to similarities between these two groups. |
