Vestígios: moda e arte na relação entre mãe e filha para uma coleção de moda festa

Abstract

This work aims to create and develop a fashion collection inspired by the works of the artist Mari Bueno, mother of the author of this work. More than inspiration in the mother, the development of the work itself will be done in partnership with Mari Bueno, who will manually paint the pieces to be made. The discussion of the work will be centered in the relations between fashion and art, since here fashion becomes support for the artistic work; in the way fashion finds art based on the relationship between mother and daughter and among the women of the family, highlighting the life and work of Mari Bueno; and in the manipulation of textile surfaces as a way of communicating and printing concepts. In what concerns the development, the stages of research and creation of a collection for the Fashion Party segment will be presented, consisting of fifteen looks, of which three were made. The collection named Traces brings as a reference in its prints, forms and materials of the works of Mari Bueno, which also become inspirations for the homonymous editorial to present the collection.
