Moda, arte e meio ambiente: uma releitura para o design de superfície têxtil a partir das obras naturalistas de Frans Krajcberg

Abstract

This work aims to create a Party Fashion Collection for Grace.s House brand, as part of the Completion Work at the Bachelor of Fashion at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. Taking as inspiration for the production of the Brazilian artist Frans Krajcberg, bibliographical research was made about the referred artist, with the intention of analyzing his works, aesthetics and the way he interacted with nature, which was his field of life. Krajcberg considered nature his homeland, and for this reason, his works have always had as their characteristic action the protest and revolt against human destruction of natural resources. For a better understanding, we also sought a brief explanation about the Brazilian biomes from which the artist drew his work material and; a brief dialogue of the field of art in connection with fashion; thus aiming to bring the paired creation to the artist's concepts. Similarly, a survey of sustainable practices in the field of fashion was carried out so that they could then be incorporated into the elaboration and execution phase of the work. Finally, for the presentation of the made clothes and to make a conversation between Frans Krajcberg and the present work in the imagetic and conceptual field, a fashion production was held at the UFJF Campus, allowing to manipulate the concepts between clothes, image, and space.
