Fluxo digital na reabilitação oral estética: vantagens e desvantagens

Abstract

Digital dentistry is becoming increasingly present in dental offices and dental prosthesis laboratories, allowing rehabilitation treatments to be planned and executed digitally. Therefore, dentists can choose this work method inserting it or not the in their offices as a digital flow, seeking to perform the best treatment for patients. The aim of this study was to review the literature on the advantages and disadvantages of the digital flow in esthetic oral rehabilitation. According to the reviewed studies, it is interesting to add digital dentistry to dental office, since it provides a plurality of resources compared to conventional analogic dentistry, deserving investments in knowledge, time and financial analysis, once enables prosthodontics services with predictable clinical longevity. The use of these technologies is becoming a reality in the clinical routine of professionals in different areas of dentistry. Thus, professionals should increasingly explore this universe, bringing it to their routine, in order to seek improved and excellent treatments.
