Vamos conhecer a história da escola EMEIEF Duque de Caxias/São Vicente -SP

Abstract

The purpose of this intervention project is to study the history of the EMEIEF Duque de Caxias school, a school founded on September 28, 1951. The school is located in Napoleão Lourenço Square, s / nº, in the Jardim Guassu neighborhood, in the city of São Vicente , SP, is located in a neighborhood near the center of the city.The school has 956 students divided into Elementary and Secondary Education I and II.It is a traditional old school in the city, and became a benchmark for the quality of education provided to the students. But, currently most students do not know the history of the school and do not value the school. The project had as its initial proposal to study not only the historical context of the school, but also to research the official documents, the functioning and the interpersonal relations of the school community. In order to achieve these objectives, questionnaires and interviews were applied to the segments that comprise it, including those responsible for the students. And as a result we got an interest in knowing more about the oldest school in the neighborhood.
