| Resumo: | O trabalho busca pensar o contexto narrativo e o personagem em uma tendência do cinema no realismo contemporâneo, o qual tem sido entendido como “realismo sensorial” ou “cinema de fluxo”. Para tal, será feita uma apresentação de outros dois estilos cinematográficos, já bem consolidados, que servirão de base para a análise. O cinema clássico e o neo realismo italiano (que inaugura o que comumente se chama cinema moderno) possuem uma estrutura estética e narrativa diferente do que é visto nos filmes mais sensoriais analisados e, por esse motivo, ajudarão a entender como os personagens desse modelo mais recente são apresentados. Após apresentar as principais características da tendência que se quer analisar, será feito um estudo do filme brasileiro O Homem das Multidões de 2013, dirigido por Marcelo Gomes e Cao Guimarães. |
| Abstract: | This paper intends to discuss the narrative context and the character in a cinema tendency in the contemporary realism, which has been understood as “sensory realism” or “flow cinema”. For this to happen, a presentation about two other well-established cinematographic styles will be made to serve as the basis for the analysis. Classical cinema and Italian neo-realism (which inaugurates what is commonly called modern cinema) have a different aesthetic and narrative structure than what is seen in the most sensorial films analyzed and, therefore, they will help to understand how the characters are displayed in this model. After presenting the main characteristics of the trend to be analyzed, it will be carried out a study of the Brazilian film O Homem das Multidões, 2013, directed by Marcelo Gomes and Cao Guimarães. |
