| Resumo: | Devido as constantes mudanças que o cenário competitivo mundial vem sofrendo, as organizações em sua maioria têm buscado por novas ferramentas e métodos, para conseguir atender melhor as demandas dos seus clientes. Sendo que uma dessas metodologias é o Seis Sigma, tendo como ferramenta de apoio o FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Portanto, o presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar se o FMEA usado na metodologia Seis Sigma, contribui para o alto desempenho das organizações. Para tanto, a pesquisa contou com um vasto estudo bibliográfico, e focou em examinar as especificidades da metodologia Seis Sigma e da ferramenta FMEA. A pesquisa mostrou que a ferramenta FMEA, como auxiliar do Seis Sigma, pode vir a contribuir para o alto desempenho organizacional. Os resultados obtidos podem contribuir para que as organizações entendam a metodologia Seis Sigma e suas ferramentas de apoio, e os benefícios que estas podem trazer para as organizações que querem se posicionar melhor no mercado, através de uma melhora no seu desempenho. |
| Abstract: | Due to the constant changes that the global competitive landscape has undergone, organizations have mostly been looking for new tools and methods to better achieve meet the demands of its customers. Since one of these methodologies is Six Sigma, with the support tool FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Therefore, this study aims to identify the FMEA used in the Six Sigma methodology, contributes to the high performance of organizations. Therefore, the survey included a wide bibliographical study, and focused on examining the specifics of Six Sigma methodology and FMEA tool. Research has shown that the FMEA tool as an aid of Six Sigma , could contribute to high organizational performance. The results can help organizations to understand the Six Sigma methodology and its support tools, and the benefits they can bring to organizations that want to better position themselves in the market through an improvement in their performance. |
