O uso de sistemas de informação nas micro e pequenas empresas de varejo de Juiz de Fora: uma análise a partir do projeto Varejo Viável

Abstract

The general objective of this work was to identify how the Information Systems are used in the Micro and Small Companies of the city of Juiz de Fora, from the database of the project "Viable Retail", project that the author was. Specific objectives sought to identify: which sector uses more information systems; The size of companies that use information systems; Which area of the city they are inserted predominantly, to analyze if there is a relationship between the use of information systems and market time, and to investigate whether the academic training of managers is related to the use of information systems. These questions also sought to identify if there is any predominant variable to explain the use of information systems by the companies surveyed. For the elaboration of the Work a bibliographic research, basic descriptive statistics and more detailed statistics were carried out, using the SPSS Statistical Software. As results were observed as each of the variables explains in isolation the use of information systems, in relation to the sector it was found that the one that uses information systems the most is the Pharmacist; It was observed that the size of the company also explains the use of information systems, since it was observed that among the larger companies of the sample there is a greater use of information systems; The area of the city of Juiz de Fora where managers most use these tools is the Center; It was also observed that there is a relationship between market time and the use of information systems and, finally, it was verified that the manager's schooling influences the use of information systems, since the higher the manager's education the greater the Use of these tools.
