| Resumo: | A matriz de insumo-produto se constitui em uma ferramenta muito utilizada para analisar a estrutura produtiva e suas inter-relações em termos nacionais e regionais. Assim sendo, constitui-se em um instrumento de auxílio no processo de planejamento. Entretanto, a obtenção dessas matrizes é custosa, e a sua divulgação, em vários momentos, é defasada. Este trabalho, portanto, objetiva atualizar a matriz de insumo-produto Minas Gerais x restante do Brasil (BDMG e FIPE, 2002) para os anos de 1997 a 2003. Com base nessas matrizes, será possível analisar as mudanças ocorridas na economia mineira e no restante do Brasil. A fim de verificar as características da economia mineira, serão utilizados os multiplicadores de produção e os índices de ligação para trás e para frente. |
| Abstract: | The input-output matrix is a framework widely used to analyze the productivity structure and the industry interdependence both in national and regional terms. Thus, it is an important feature in the planning process. However, the construction is costly and the publication, sometimes, is made with a lag. Therefore, this paper upgrades the input-output matrix for Minas Gerais State and the rest of Brazil (BDMG and FIPE, 2002) for the period between 1997 and 2003. Based on those matrices, it will be possible to analyze the changes occurred on Minas Gerais and in the rest of Brazil. In order to verify the characteristics of Minas Gerais State we will use the production multiplier and the idea of backward and forward linkages. |
