| Resumo: | A presente dissertação de mestrado faz uma reflexão acerca da temática ambiental com o objetivo de situar o debate ambiental e sua relação com o Serviço Social, no Encontro Nacional de Pesquisadores em Serviço Social- ENPESS e no Congresso Brasileiro de Assistentes Sociais – CBAS, no período de 2012 – 2016. O tratamento teórico dado à temática ambiental pelo Serviço Social pode ser considerado incipiente. O estudo se justifica, pois, nas últimas décadas, sobretudo a partir de 2000, entre os campos de atuação do Serviço Social, tem se destacado o aumento no atendimento às demandas ambientais. Nessa perspectiva, entende-se que o debate ambiental apresenta-se como algo desafiador para os assistentes sociais. Salienta-se que o marxismo ao trazer os elementos de análise do modo de produção capitalista oferece os elementos fundamentais para situar criticamente a problemática ambiental no capitalismo contemporâneo. O estudo está organizado em três capítulos. No primeiro capítulo situa-se a discussão da questão ambiental no modo de produção capitalista. A discussão pauta-se na análise marxista da temática ambiental a partir de John Bellamy Foster (2005). No segundo capítulo, realiza-se uma análise do debate contemporâneo sobre a questão ambiental, buscando apreender as limitações do desenvolvimento sustentável, entendendo ser a ideologia da sustentabilidade, o principal mecanismo proposto pelo sistema capitalista como resposta a crise ecológica da atualidade. No terceiro capítulo, situam-se as aproximações entre Serviço Social e Questão Ambiental. Os levantamentos realizados foram esquematizados a partir da análise dos anais dos ENPESS e CBAS. Em seguida, apontam-se reflexões encontradas no estudo que apontam para o duplo caráter presente no debate ambiental: o reconhecimento de que o Serviço Social vem construindo novos conhecimentos acerca da questão ambiental e por outro lado vem reatualizando velhos paradigmas ao absolver o ideário ético do “Desenvolvimento Sustentável”. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation deals with environmental issues with the objective of situating the environmental debate and its relationship with Social Service, at the National Meeting of Researchers in Social Service - ENPESS and at the Brazilian Congress of Social Workers - CBAS, in the period of 2012 - 2016. The theoretical treatment given to the environmental theme by the Social Service can be considered incipient. The study is justified, since, in the last decades, especially since 2000, the fields of action of the Social Service have been highlighted the increase in the attendance to the environmental demands. From this perspective it is understood that the environmental debate presents itself as challenging for social workers. It should be noted that Marxism, by bringing the elements of analysis of the capitalist mode of production, provides the fundamental elements for critically situating the environmental problem in contemporary capitalism. The study is organized in three chapters. In the first chapter is the discussion of the environmental question in the capitalist mode of production. The discussion is based on the Marxist analysis of the environmental theme from John Bellamy Foster (2005). In the second chapter, an analysis of the contemporary debate on the environmental issue is made, seeking to understand the limitations of sustainable development, considering it to be the ideology of sustainability, the main mechanism proposed by the capitalist system as a response to the current ecological crisis. In the third chapter, are the approximations between Social Service and Environmental Question. The surveys carried out were outlined based on the analysis of the annals of the ENPESS and CBAS. Next, we point out the reflections found in the study that point to the double character present in the environmental debate: the recognition that Social Service has been building new knowledge about the environmental issue and on the other hand has been re-updating old paradigms by absolving the ethical "Sustainable development". |
