Justiça social: conceito e presença em documentos internacionais

Abstract

This article analyzes the origin and historical development of the idea of social justice, from the classic species proposed by Aristotle until your consolidation in the 20th century. From a bibliographic review research, the presence of the term is located in some international documents and comparisons are made of how the expression was expanded with the time interval between the documents analysed. The objective of such research was to investigate whether the expression social justice has stagnated over time or is still present in important documents. It is concluded that over the years its meaning has been changing and increasingly encompassing social rights.
