O processo de feminização do trabalho e as implicações para saúde da mulher trabalhadora: análise das pesquisas em Serviço Social

Abstract

This thesis aims to analyse and understand, from a reflection based on the marxist tradition and taking into technic analitical reference the studies which approach the productive restructuring, sexual division of labor and worker health, how the social service is connected with the worker health category in a general way. It also intends to look into the female worker specific condition when she recognizes her illness process. The theoretic methodological way adopted by this study tries to outstand the worldwide capitalist development since the 1970‟s, the constitution of a new organization model and work management, which has the neoliberalism as the ideo-political basis. The determiners of this process for the workers, specially for female workers, who have a double functionality for capitalism, as on the production scope as on the capitalist reproduction, and the process of feminization of work. It also characterizes the female work, the health connection with work, the historical construction of the worker health relation at SUS (Unique Health System), the multiple determinations of the woman insertion in the job market and the impacts on the female worker health which came from these changings. It analyses the researches in Social Service presented in five editions of ENPESS (from 2004 to 2012), aiming to comprehend how these two categories and the possible correlations between them arise interest of the reseachers in Social Service. We afirm the necessity of reflection about the woman life and work conditions , from the permanency of her traditional functions at home and of her increasing in the job market participation and her consequent, doubled and little considered work, regarding the construction of a National Worker Health Policy and the social workers scientific debates.
