dc.description.abstractThe present work have for object the analisis of the relation between freedom and education. For this, a research was made with the scope of delimiting the concept of freedom. Thenceforth, the search had the aim to establish the relation between freedom and the conception of education elaborated by Paulo Freire in his work “Pedagogy Of The Opressed”, in a attempt to make clear the possible contribution of education in the freedom of the person. In the end, was researched the legal tratament of the brazilian law system of the matter. The conclusion was that the brazilian laws can be interpretated in the direction of putting in education a fundamental role in the development of freedom.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho tem por escopo analisar a relação entre liberdade e educação. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa com vistas a delimitar o conceito de liberdade. A partir daí, buscouse relacionar tal conceito com a concepção de educação defendida por Paulo Freire na sua obra “Pedagogia do Oprimido”, de forma a tornar clara de que maneira a educação poderia auxiliar na libertação do indivíduo. Por fim foi estabelecida de que forma o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro regula a relação entre educação e liberdade. Chegou-se a conclusão de que as normas jurídicas do Brasil podem ser interpretadas no sentido de alocar para a educação um papel precípuo na busca do ideal de liberdade.pt_BR
