Abstract

This work aims to discuss about the conflict that exists between the rules that apply the right image and the right arena in the Brazilian sports law. Given the increasing importance given to sport in recent years, especially in the country will host the next World Cup and 2016 Olympics, went about the various topics under discussion need a stronger interaction with society and an update by the legislature, as Sports Law is that a newborn area, and there still so many approaches to its end, as is required by virtue of its high degree of importance. Initially, work is a narrative of the history of Brazilian sports law, outlining the main points of their appearance and how the legislature, over the years, adapting to the new reality that was established. This work also seeks to show throughout its pages all the essential information involving sports law in general, so that the main theme, namely the right image x right arena, can be understood in its essence and also prepare the reader for a fuller discussion in order that the issue related to the rules of the sport gain the importance it deserves, because of its great value to society.
