| Resumo: | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a relevância da previsão do artigo 205 da Constituição Federal de 1988 ao estabelecer como finalidade educacional o preparo para o exercício da cidadania, demonstrando a influência da educação cidadã no acesso efetivo à justiça. O texto inclui também a aplicação e a avaliação de um questionário sobre conhecimentos básicos de Direito aplicado aos alunos do 1º período do curso de Direito da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, bem como a análise da importância da inserção do ensino jurídico na educação básica brasileira e os projetos de lei existentes. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims to present the relevance of Article 205 of the Constitution of 1988 as forecast by establishing educational purpose preparation for citizenship, demonstrating the influence of citizen education in effective access to justice. The text also includes implementation and evaluation of a questionnaire on basic knowledge of law applied to the students of the 1st semester of the Law of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, as well as analysis of the importance of the inclusion of legal education in the Brazilian basic education and the designs of existing law. |
