| Resumo: | O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso trata da questão da justiça intimamente ligada ao livre arbítrio e a liberdade, no pensamento de Agostinho. Mostra-se o livre arbítrio como um bem que foi concedido por Deus ao homem para que este possa fazer suas escolhas. Essas escolhas, uma vez feitas de acordo com os princípios da justiça divina, fazem com que o homem se torne justo também perante a justiça dos homens. Por fim, analisa-se a presença do amor (charitas) como fonte para se alcançar a verdadeira liberdade e, consequentemente, a verdadeira justiça. |
| Abstract: | The present study addresses the issue of justice intimately connected to free will and freedom in the thought of Augustine. We try to show that free will is a ―well‖ that was given by God to man and because of that he can make choices. These choices, when made in accordance with the principles of divine justice, make the man also righteous before the justice of men. Finally, we analyzed the presence of love (charitas) as a source to attain true freedom and, consequently, the real justice. |
