O assistente social e a condição de trabalhador assalariado no setor público estatal: traços do perfil do mercado de trabalho em Minas Gerais

Abstract

This research has the proposal to analyze some features of the labor market profile of social workers, focusing on the region covered by the Regional Council of Social Service of Minas Gerais - CRESS 6th Region, covering the areas of its headquarter, located in Belo Horizonte and Sectional of Montes Claros. The bias of the research has as investigation content the public procurement notices and simplified selection processes to forecast vacancies for social workers, cataloged by this Council in the years 2007 to 2014. Starting from the understanding that the changes occurring in the business world and within the capitalist state, directly affect the social workers in their relationships and working conditions and their professional space. This research seeks to characterize the precarious expansion’s process of the social worker labor market, mainly determined by the municipalization of health and social care and the growth of academic and professional training of social work. Then after, we will indicate the conditions which accomplish the insertion of the social worker in the labor market in Minas Gerais, specifically in the state public sphere.
