Abstract

This research was main goal, identify the reasons why the school board is not functioning as a democratic management tool in a public municipal school the municipality of Manaus- AM. For this was done data collection near the school and its pedagogical staff en order to get the results obtained and described. It will be demonstrated in the course of the considerations presented here investigative data as well as statistical, as shown in the charts and tables presented. The research is structured in theree chapters. The first have initially designed to reflect on the school administration and also about the creation of the what is Called school board process. Considerations here put make references to the scholl board of the training proces both at nacional and local level, yet here is made reference to the implementation and operation of the school board process in the researched school, showing in this way the description of case management.
