A paisagem cafeeira como propulsora do turismo na Serra do Brigadeiro - MG com foco na cidade de Araponga

Abstract

This article aims to portray how the coffee landscape in the city of Araponga - MG can foster tourism in the Serra do Brigadeiro. Contemplative tourism in natural areas and Conservation Units is directly related to the balance between environmental preservation and awareness of the appreciation of natural resources. This type of tourism focuses primarily on observing and interacting with nature in a way that does not harm the local fauna and flora, and can serve as an escape for those who do not align with mass tourism. Thus, the results of this study were obtained through a comparison between the selected theoretical framework and field research, including interviews with residents, business owners, coffee farmers, public sector managers, and tour guides from the region.
