| Resumo: | Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a comédia televisiva na primeira década da TV brasileira, com ênfase na sitcom Alô Doçura (TV Tupi, 1953-1964), um dos maiores sucessos da época. A pesquisa busca compreender o processo de construção do gênero sitcom no Brasil, investigando as tecnologias disponíveis para as emissoras, o repertório cômico influenciado pelo rádio e pelo teatro, e os discursos que permeiam esses programas. A partir de uma análise histórica e contextual, o estudo explora as especificidades da sitcom brasileira, destacando suas distinções em relação às produções internacionais contemporâneas. Ao reconstruir as origens do gênero no Brasil, este trabalho também contribui para uma reflexão crítica sobre a televisão como meio de comunicação e entretenimento, evidenciando seu papel na formação cultural do país. |
| Abstract: | This work aims to analyze television comedy in the first decade of Brazilian TV, with emphasis on the sitcom Alô Doçura (TV Tupi, 1953-1964), one of the biggest hits of the time. The research seeks to understand the process of construction of the sitcom genre in Brazil, investigating the technologies available to broadcasters, the comic repertoire influenced by radio and theater, and the discourses that permeate these programs. Based on a historical and contextual analysis, the study explores the specificities of the Brazilian sitcom, highlighting its distinctions in relation to contemporary international productions. By reconstructing the origins of the genre in Brazil, this work also contributes to a critical reflection on television as a means of communication and entertainment, highlighting its role in the country's cultural formation. |
