Abstract

This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Education Management and Assessment of the Center for Public Policies and Education Assessment of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). The management case studied addresses the School Documentation and Recordkeeping Service. It discusses ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in feeding SIMADE by the school secretariats of the Teófilo Otoni Regional Education Superintendence. The question that gave rise to the research was: How can SEDINE guarantee a standard of efficiency and effectiveness in feeding SIMADE by the school secretariats? The main objective was to highlight the role of SEDINE in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in feeding SIMADE by the school secretariats of the Teófilo Otoni Regional Education Superintendence. The methodology adopted was qualitative and quantitative, with a descriptive and analytical approach, including bibliographic review, documentary and field research, and preparation of a SWOT matrix. At the end, an Educational Action Plan was proposed based on the general and specific objectives, which made it possible to answer the proposed research question. Thus, starting from the identification of the main strengths and weaknesses of the actors involved, both technicians from the SEDINE team and the ATBs in the school secretariats, and observing the opportunities to minimize threats, products were developed that aim at the daily training of technicians, namely: the organization of a consolidated schedule, provision of online courses, creation of booklets, and virtual environments that can contribute to achieving efficiency and effectiveness in feeding SIMADE by school secretariats.
