| Resumo: | Os transtornos de ansiedade são caracterizados por preocupação excessiva e podem causar sintomas físicos e psíquicos, além de poderem gerar prejuízos no funcionamento social. As disfunções sexuais também reúnem sintomas orgânicos e psicológicos, objetivos e subjetivos e fazem parte dos transtornos psicossexuais. O presente trabalho verificou a relação entre as disfunções sexuais e transtornos de ansiedade em homens, além de compreender o impacto na qualidade de vida dos pacientes e promover uma discussão crítica sobre a temática. Para tal, foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada com homens com demandas de disfunções sexuais e/ou ansiedade, verificando-se a relação. |
| Abstract: | Anxiety disorders are characterized by excessive anxiety and worry and can cause physical and psychological symptoms, as well as impair social functioning. Sexual dysfunctions also encompass organic and psychological, objective and subjective symptoms and are part of psychosexual disorders. This study aims to investigate the relationship between sexual dysfunctions present in men and anxiety disorders. Specific objectives include understanding how this issue impacts patients' quality of life and promoting a reflection on the importance of addressing this matter in a natural and educational way. Data obtained from a literature review will be compared with clinical reports of men seeking therapy for sexual dysfunction issues, and the analysis of the results will be conducted qualitatively. The existence of this relationship was verified. |
