| Resumo: | O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre o desmatamento e emissões de CO2 na Amazônia Legal e três medidas de desenvolvimento econômico: eletricidade, crédito rural e produtividade total dos fatores dos produtores rurais. Dessa forma, são desenvolvidos três artigos, em que o primeiro capítulo estuda a relação entre o acesso a eletricidade nas comunidades rurais e o desmatamento. No segundo capítulo é analisada a relação de longo prazo entre crédito rural e as emissões de CO2. No terceiro capítulo é desenvolvida uma análise sobre a produtividade total dos fatores dos estabelecimentos rurais de diferentes tamanhos e o desmatamento na Amazônia Legal. |
| Abstract: | The present study aims to analyze the relationship between deforestation and CO2 emissions in the Legal Amazon and three measures of economic development: electricity, rural credit, and total factor productivity of rural producers. Thus, three articles were developed, where the first chapter examines the relationship between access to electricity in rural communities and deforestation. The second chapter analyzes the long-term relationship between rural credit and CO2 emissions. The third chapter provides an analysis of the total factor productivity of rural establishments of varied sizes and deforestation in the Legal Amazon. |
