Abstract

The present work aims to present the creation of a collection and the development of prototype pieces, inspired by Princess of Wales Diana Spencer, who became known as Lady Di, and became an icon for fashion. The development of the work is done in stages, which first deals with the theoretical contextualization of the work, where the proposed differential is made in the convergence of party fashion with casual chic style in favor of sustainability. The concern and purpose of this work is to relate the feasibility of reusing the pieces on different occasions, so that their usability is more versatile and extensive for consumers, thus aiming to reduce the impact of the current consumption movement, contemplating the slow fashion in production. It will also address the study of competing brands, the influence of Lady Di in fashion and, finally, the development of the collection and presentation of the prototypes that materialize the creative process, manual and more sustainable, as well as the quality and exclusivity. Questions such as the best raw material for production will be left as future developments.
