| Resumo: | Atualmente, existem 1157 patrimônios mundiais, cinco deles, na República Democrática do Congo. E desse pequeno conjunto, quatro deles encontram-se numa lista paralela:a chamada lista de patrimônios mundiais em perigo pela Unesco, que atualmente congrega 52 sítios. Os parques naturais, patrimônios mundiais congoleses são: Parques Nacionais de Virunga; Kahuzi- Biega; Garamba e Reserva dos Okapi. Objetiva-se, nesta pesquisa, balizado pela história ambiental, apresentar os motivos que levaram quatro dos cinco patrimônios mundiais congoleses a serem inscritos na lista de alerta dos patrimônios considerados em perigo de desaparecerem, visando com isso compreender como o país vem se consolidando como um dos menos atuantes em âmbito africano no que tange à efetiva proteção de seus patrimônios mundiais. Busca-se, primordialmente, apresentar os fatores que desencadearam a entrada desse conjunto de patrimônios congoleses na lista de alerta da Unesco e analisar quais estruturas o estado congolês têm mobilizado para reverter a situação contemporânea de perda paulatina do seu patrimônio mundial. |
| Abstract: | Currently, there are 1157 World Heritage Sites, five of them in the Democratic Republic of Congo. And from this small set, four of them are on a parallel list: the so-called list of world heritage sites in danger by Unesco, which currently comprises 52 sites. The natural parks, Congolese world heritage sites are: Virunga National Parks; Kahuzi-Biega; Garamba and Okapi Reserve. The objective of this research, guided by environmental history, is to present the reasons that led four of the five Congolese world heritage sites to be inscribed on the alert list of heritage sites considered in danger of disappearing, in order to understand how the country has been consolidating itself as a of the least active in the African context regarding the effective protection of its world heritage. The aim is, primarily, to present the factors that triggered the entry of this set of Congolese heritage sites on the Unesco alert list and to analyze which structures the Congolese state has mobilized to reverse the contemporary situation of gradual loss of its world heritage. |
