Outono da vida: o envelhecer criativo, como a arte teatral interfere na vivência psicológica e interpesssoal do idoso

Abstract

The present work presents the descriptive memorial of the audiovisual project developed for the completion of the Radio, TV and Internet course of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. The product consists on the documentary named “Autumn of Life” (Outono da Vida), relating theater in the elderly, documentary, fiction and reality, through a role-changing theatrical game, where four actors interpret each other’s life story with the objective of confusing the spectator and generating questions about what is real or not. The film also features the participation of a theater director and a psychologist with experience in accompanying elderly people. With the objective of creating a practical dialogue between theater and documentary on a hybrid audiovisual product, as also address the art in the elderly, through theater and its possible psychosocial benefits, demystifying the sensation arising with the age of invalidism and disablement. Throughout the text the production stages of the project will be detailed, along with the well grounded theoretical argument in which it was based.
