| Resumo: | Os implantes osseointegrados revolucionaram a Odontologia, pois possibilitaram a resolução de casos até então limítrofes ou impossíveis (DINATO, CELESTINO E CURRA, 2003, OLIVEIRA et al., 2017). Os atuais implantes mais corriqueiros apresentam elevadas taxas de sobrevivência, apresentando índices semelhantes de sucesso, tanto para o profissional experiente como para alunos em início de atuação na área, entretanto, a prótese sobre implante gera alguma dúvida com relação a características muito peculiares de cada tipo protético. O presente trabalho objetiva revisa a literatura científica correlata e sintetiza dados gerais a respeito da prótese implantar e os ordena de maneira concisa, tornando mais embasada a opção por um ou outro tipo protético sobreimplantar. |
| Abstract: | Osseointegrated implants revolutionized dentistry, as they made it possible to solve cases that were borderline or impossible until then (DINATO, CELESTINO E CURRA, 2003, OLIVEIRA et al., 2017). The current most common implants have high survival rates, with similar success rates, both for the experienced professional and for students starting to work in the area, however, the implant prosthesis raises some doubts regarding the very peculiar characteristics of each type. prosthetic. The present work aims to review the related scientific literature and synthesize general data regarding the implant prosthesis and order them in a concise manner, making the option for one or another overimplant prosthetic type more informed. |
