| Resumo: | Este trabalho teve como objetivo examinar a relação do setor de eletricidade e gás de Minas Gerais com os demais setores econômicos presentes no estado no ano de 2015. Através da matriz de insumo-produto, foram considerados 22 setores produtivos, dividindo o estado em três regiões distintas, sendo: Belo Horizonte, região metropolitana e interior do estado, representadas respectivamente por R1, R2 e R3. Mediante o método de extração hipotética, os resultados revelaram que o setor de eletricidade e gás mineiro está associado a 2,87% do valor bruto da produção (VPB) de todo o estado e exerce maior influência em determinados setores e que essa influência se intensifica a depender da região analisada, demonstrando que a posição geográfica é um fator relevante ao analisar a inserção produtiva do setor de eletricidade e gás. |
| Abstract: | This study aimed to examine the relationship of the electricity and gas sector of Minas Gerais with the other economic sectors present in the state in 2015. Using the inputoutput matrix, 22 productive sectors were considered, dividing the state into three distinct regions, namely: Belo Horizonte, metropolitan region, and the interior of the state, represented respectively by R1, R2, and R3. Using the hypothetical extraction method, the results revealed that the electricity and gas sector of Minas Gerais is associated with 2.87% of the gross value of production (GVP) of the entire state and has a greater influence in certain sectors, which intensifies depending on the region analyzed, demonstrating that the geographical location is a relevant factor when analyzing the productive insertion of the electricity and gas sector |
