Era tecnológica: a alfabetização visual na justiça eleitoral em estudo comparativo

Abstract

In contemporary society, images have acquired a central position in communication and social practice. Its use began to incorporate and transform reality as a means to portray everyday, historical, real or even fictional situations, something that, together with the common sense of accessing the reality of these imagery records and the new technological instruments for their manipulation, reflected in a strategy for electoral advertisements in order to capture voters. In view of this, new challenges are imposed on the Electoral Justice with the integration of this evidence into judicial proceedings. In this way, the present study seeks to evaluate the reflections of this profusion of images in electoral disputes and in judicial processes and if there is a need for a visual literacy improvement of the operators of the Law in the Electoral Justice from the empirical study of cases with similar factual and probative basis in the which the imagistic tests were thematized.
