| Resumo: | Frente a um cenário de crise e com restrições impostas pelo contexto pandêmico que se instaurou no mundo em 2020, o jornalismo precisou se reinventar. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo compreender os atravessamentos da pandemia no telejornalismo esportivo, tomando como recorte os Jogos Olímpicos de Tóquio. Utilizando a metodologia de Análise Televisual (BECKER, 2012), o trabalho pretende identificar e categorizar as estratégias narrativas (THOMÉ; PICCININ; REIS, 2020) utilizadas pelo programa Esporte Espetacular na cobertura do megaevento, e suas possíveis produções de sentido, partindo da hipótese de que a cobertura olímpica se apoiou em recursos tecnológicos, além de utilizar estratégias que tentaram driblar esses desafios, contribuindo não só para a espetacularização da narrativa do evento, como também para a própria narrativa de superação da cobertura em si. |
| Abstract: | Faced with a crisis scenario and restrictions imposed by the pandemic context that broke out in the world in 2020, journalism had to reinvent itself. The present research aims to understand the crossings of the pandemic in sports television journalism, taking the Tokyo Olympic Games as a cutout. Using the methodology of Television Analysis (BECKER, 2012), the work intends to identify and categorize the narrative strategies (THOMÉ; PICCININ; REIS, 2020) used by the TV show Esporte Espetacular in the coverage of the mega-event, and its possible meaning production, assuming the hypothesis that the Olympic coverage relied on technological resources, in addition to using strategies that tried to circumvent these challenges, contributing not only to the spectacularization of the event's narrative, but also to the narrative of overcoming the coverage itself. |
