| Resumo: | Essa dissertação de mestrado teve por objetivo analisar a associação do Fundo Especial de Financiamento de Campanha (FEFC), o fundo eleitoral, com o desempenho eleitoral das candidatas ao cargo de vereadora nas eleições brasileiras de 2020. O objetivo principal dessa dissertação foi analisar a correlação do fundo eleitoral com o desempenho eleitoral nas eleições brasileiras de 2020. A hipótese de partida foi de que existiria uma associação positiva e estatisticamente significativa do fundo eleitoral e do desempenho eleitoral das mulheres, associação quer variaria a depender do partido político e do município das candidatas. Utilizei o método quantitativo para a realização do estudo por meio de análises descritivas e correlacionais. Contudo, a hipótese principal foi apenas parcialmente corroborada. Além disso, a análise destacou a necessidade e possibilidades de análises plurais que combinem métodos, técnicas, fontes, dados, interesses, opiniões e perspectivas. A principal conclusão do estudo é a que o fundo eleitoral e o desempenho eleitoral apresentaram correlações estatisticamente significativas, positivas cujos valores da variável dependente variam dada as características individuais das candidaturas, dos partidos políticos e dos municípios. |
| Abstract: | This master's thesis aimed to analyze the association of the Fundo Especial de Financiamento de Campanha (FEFC), the electoral fund, with the electoral performance of candidates for the position of councilor in the 2020 Brazilian elections. The main objective of this dissertation was to analyze the correlation between FEFC and electoral performance in the 2020 Brazilian elections. The starting hypothesis was that there would be a positive and statistically significant association between FEFC and women's electoral performance, an association that would vary depending on the political party and municipality of the candidates. I used the quantitative method to carry out the study through descriptive and correlational analyses. However, the main hypothesis was only partially supported. In addition, the analysis highlighted the need and possibilities of plural analyzes that combine methods, techniques, sources, data, interests, opinions and perspectives. The main conclusion of the study is that the FEFC and electoral performance showed statistically significant, positive correlations whose values of the dependent variable vary given the individual characteristics of the candidacies, political parties and municipalities |
