Exploração, dominação e opressão da mulher trabalhadora nas esferas de produção e reprodução social

Abstract

In the current scenery marked by neoliberalism, labor informality and precariousness of the working class' life conditions, we see that women are the ones who suffer the gravest consequences of these processes. Women’s subsidiary insertion on the labor market and the majority responsibilization for social reproduction carry significant impacts of the current conjuncture. To comprehend the position of women in our society, we analyze their functionality to the maintenance of capitalist mode of production. We start from the understanding of the founding social issues in this system and the rescue of the debate concerning how the social classes are configured currently to discuss the consubstanciality of the class, race and sex categories, intertwined in objective reality. Reaffirming this theorical option, the relation between capitalism, racism and patriarchy is discussed, resuming the phenomena that are the material base of women’s concrete situation: social reproduction and sexual division of labor. In the wake of this discussion, is it elaborated about the brasilian social formation and the transformations of the production pattern, especially since 1970, with advent of neoliberalism, to illustrate the feminine labor in national reality. We gather works that demonstrate how women are inserted in the productive sphere, in which circumstances and conditions.
