| Resumo: | De acordo com a nova Divisão Regional do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística, os recortes regionais estão divididos dentro dos estados em Regiões Geográfica Intermediárias e Regiões Geográficas Imediatas, as antigas macrorregiões e microrregiões respectivamente. Este trabalho faz uma análise para um recorte de duas Regiões Geográficas Imediatas vizinhas, que estão em estados diferente, a Região Geográfica Imediata de Bragança Paulista no estado de São Paulo, e a Região Geográfica Imediata de Pouso Alegre, no estado de Minas Gerais. Por meio de uma base de dados proveniente de Censo do IBGE e da PNUD Brasil, ambos para o ano de 2010, utiliza-se de métodos de estatística multivariada como a Análise de Componentes Principais e Análise de Cluster para realizar um trabalho de caracterização para os 45 municípios que estão nestas duas regiões. Os resultados conclusivos apontam que há grupos de municípios que têm uma economia mais aberta (base econômica diversificada), e uma característica urbano-industrial e de infraestrutura mais desenvolvida, enquanto outros necessitam de maiores estímulos para que possam diversificar sua base econômica e se desenvolver mais. |
| Abstract: | According to the new Regional Division of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the regional cuts are divided within the states, in Intermediate Geographic Regions and Immediate Geographic Regions, the former macro-regions and micro-regions respectively. This work makes an analysis for a clipping of two neighboring Immediate Geographical Regions, which are in different states, the Immediate Geographical Region of Bragança Paulista in the state of São Paulo, and the Immediate Geographical Region of Pouso Alegre, in the state of Minas Gerais. Through a database from the IBGE Census and the UNDP-Brazil, both for the year 2010, multivariate statistical methods such as Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis are used to carry out a characterization work for the 45 municipalities that are in these two regions. The main findings revealed that there are groups of municipalities that have a more open economy (diversified economic base), and a more developed urban-industrial and infrastructure characteristic, while others need greater incentives so that they can diversify their economic base and develop more. |
